קוסדור
קוּסְדֹּור, קִסְ׳m. (quæstor) quæstor, military adjutant, inquisitor (v. Sm. Ant. s. v.). Sabb.49a ראהו קוס׳ אחדוכ׳ Ms. M. (ed. קס׳; Var. in Ar. קוז׳, קז׳) a quæstor saw him (wearing Tfillin), and he fled before him; Yalk. Ps. 795. Tosef.Erub.VIII (V), 4 קצדור הבא לעירוכ׳ ed. Zuck. (Var. קסדר) when a military quæstor (commissary) takes up his station in a town for thirty days; Y. ib. VI, 23b bot. הקוּסְטוֹר. Yalk. Esth. 1049 ולא היית כק׳וכ׳ (some ed. כקיס׳) and thou wast not even so much as a quæstor (worthy) to run before my fathers chariot.
